WBCT Donates to Piedmont CASA

Published on: March 15, 2026

Winder-Barrow Community Theatre was proud to donate $300 from the proceeds of "Murder on the Orient Express" to Piedmont CASA in March. Over the past twenty five years WBCT has donated thousands of dollars to local nonprofits to support many services to Barrow County residents. A portion of the proceeds of every WBCT show is donated.

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children) volunteers are trained to work alongside child protective services. The CASA is appointed by a judge to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children in court. For more information please see the Georgia CASA website at www.gacasa.org.

The picture shows Pam Veader, Treasurer of WBCT, presenting the check to Brittany Gee, Executive Director of Piedmont CASA.
